This year the University has designated five days (December 24, 26, 27, 28 & 31) as the "official" Special Winter Vacation days.

As usual, particular libraries may be open on some of these days, so some staff will be scheduled to work.  For this reason, each year the Library designates a period of time in December and January during which staff who are scheduled to work on an official Special Winter Vacation day can take alternate time off.  This year, the designated period is from December 17, 2007 - January 04, 2008.

The hours for Van Pelt Dietrich Library will be scheduled as follows for the holiday period:

 Saturday 12/22 - Sunday 12/23: closed
 Monday 12/24: closed
 Tuesday 12/25: closed
 Wednesday 12/26- Friday 12/28: 8:30am-5pm
 Saturday 12/29 - Sunday 12/30: closed
 Monday 12/31: closed
 Tuesday 1/1: closed

Please consult with your supervisor as to your individual work schedule and unit's work schedule during this holiday period.
